A lesson to be learnedThis is a lesson for all to learn, especially the Technical Analysts who claim that they can predict the market moves by Charts. If the market moves were predictable, there would not be any market. What makes the market is the unpredictablility of things giving it a Casino-like flair. Yet we need to work with what we have, some data and probabilities. Making an investment decision requires that many variables will have to be taken into account: fundamentals, political decisions, technicals, sentiment in the market, demographics, compensation policies, in our case, and so forth. We need an all-rounded approach to investing and no simple formula would do. And yet, we must be able to part ways with our money if things turn sour. That is why i believe playing the market is a mug's game and one need money and nerves of steel to navigate the market. GL
