RE:Monday is the Day for NRI disagree, but not to the statement entirely. In mining stocks which I've followed longer, good news is a 2 day spike which often would settle back down over time to a slightly higher support level. Obviously there are exceptions, but this is what I've found most common. Weed stocks do tend to Run for longer durations (see ISOL most recently, likely LIB started this afternoon), but are volatile. MYM has been a rollercoaster of ups and downs. But one thing I've noticed over the past month (aside from this week) is that Mondays tend to stir up buyers above market value. Move some cash around over the weekend and jump into that "hot buy" you couldn't wait to get a part of before it jumps. This seems especially true for the pot stocks. So in my opinion, I don't think you're wrong about giving it time to run. But I beleive a Thursday or Friday NR will drive SP before the weekend. Those who took notice will be eager to get in Monday (likely with tunnel vision towards a specific stock). If this logic would hold true, LIB can demonstrate. Thursday NR, Friday will be a green one. Then Monday should hit hard (in a good way). At the same time, those who get "all jacked up" about LIB over the weekend will not be watching MMJ to see if news is released. If a NR comes out money, those who are excited that they invested in LIB at open likely would not be selling it immediately to buy MMJ as they would once again be late to the party. "I just took $5k outta my savings to buy __ and now I am broke until payday. I sure wish I invested in __ instead".
Not a serious stock master, no advanced analytics, no charts or insider information. Just my opinion based on casual observation. Whether news come out Friday or Monday (or any of the other 3), we all want it yesterday and want it to be great. So we'll see what happens. I'll watch the following days after the next NR for MMJ, as I'm sure there are trolls out there just waiting to call me a moron if I'm wrong. I won't say I told you so, but silence will speak volumes from both sides.
