Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:RE:Provincialism...

RE:RE:RE:Provincialism...Rather agree w/ MikeD here that legal weed is going to either sell out or be scarce AF. Provinces will have to buy from whoever has product which is exactly why no province will be signing deals that are exclusive.

I think there are tons of people who will be trying weed for the first time or the first time in decades. Of that population you'll get a portion that become regular customers and the great thing about selling weed is that your customers can toke a bit every night w/ very little if any ill health effects, think vaping here. Compared w/ people who drink all the time it's not even close.

Some of the provinces politicians are dragging their feet cuz recreational doesn't jive w/ their 'values' but once its forced on them, they'll smarten up and treat it as the great revenue stream it is.
