Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:The last raise, Sunny's MMME and GSU.

RE:RE:The last raise, Sunny's MMME and GSU.I wasn't able to make the AGM. Did Vic actually say those words? Hopefully that's the case, because the right thing for Aphria to do right now is to increase capacity with an acquisition that makes sense. I've always admired the "builder not buyer" approach, but I think the game has changed and Aphria needs another greenhouse ready facility to further increase it's capacity for Shoppers, the rest of the medical patients, and that recreational thing everyone has been talking about.

Pharma was funded in April/17 raise.

Vic at AGM said “builder not buyer” tag may be retired. “Provincialism” May require acquisition of late stage in BC (bc bud and it’s heritage) or PQ (IMO for protectionist buying patterns).

Id be cautious about building on 100 acres.  Might be able to buy some distressed LPs for cheaper.

Any opinions as to what APH will use the capital from their last raise for?
My hope is that it is to create more yield through an acquistion that makes sense.
Blue, do you think it is related to the SDM deal?
Any other thoughts?

Also, the MMME that Sunny enlightened us to is quite intriguing.
I can't wait to get more information about it.

Finally, I nominate Sunny for analyst of the year in this sector. :)

We have a great thing growing,
