My O'Canada experience today!I'm now approved to purchase medical Marijuana!. I was buying from a mail order site prior and they've been fine but you can't write off rec MJ. One of many interesting insights O'canada doctor and consultor shared with me is that you can write off Med MJ so even when it goes legal, it's best to get approved for med mj. You can be approved for something as simple/common as insomnia.
So I had a consultation time for 3:30pm, O'canada called me at 3:40pm saying the doctor was ready for vid chat. With the O'Canada's reps assistance, I had to refresh the NamasteMD website and sign back in to get the video feed working but we were up and running in no time. Within 5 minutes, the doctor approved me for med mj and recommended CBD cream for my tendinitis. The consultation lasted 15 minutes however because the doctor was kind enough to answer some questions I had for me ma. Sorry to anyone who had an apt after me. :p
After the video chat with the Doctor, the consultant from O'Canada called me back 10 mins later and we spent 20 mins going over my options. Let me just say, with no bias influence, the rep was very well informed and efficient in answering my questions and providing advice. She even adviced me on using a rosin press for making my own honey oils. Oh another important thing to remember is tell your doctor you want to make edibles and oils, that way they can "justify" larger daily grams of flower. I ended up getting approved for 3g a day. Not that I would come close to smoking that amount mind you but if I end up pressing my own, I want to have the option of buying bulk.
Please note, if you have no questions, the followup call would also take 5 mins.
One question I'm certain many of you have is what kind of med docs are required so I asked the doctor; they told me it varies greatly from patient to patient but in the end, the Dr has the authority to make their own judgment call for conditions that may be challenging to get medical proof of, like Insomnia. In other words, I got the impression that the "laws" are lenient regarding required documentation, so don't be deterred. Just remember, inquire with O'Canada, not NamasteMD. From my experience today, the NamasteMD site is a platform O'Canada utilizes for the ID verification technology Namaste provides and for the video feed. Remember, Namaste made this deal with O'Canada because they want them to take care of the consulting, which they are, in spades!
Overall, I am very impressed with my /experience with NamasteMD site/ID tech, approval process and O'Canada's hands-on person to person professionalism. I am a now a happy client.
Below is part of the PDF email from O'Canada. Hmm, which to choose. You can switch from one to the other. Takes a few days though. Once Cannmart opens and it's legal, I'm sure Namaste will have most of these companies products online. The consultor said she usually helps the client select but I informed here I am well versed with the LP's so she sent me a list of options to choose from. Also, note that this LP list will be updated with many more options. Aurora is one and they are open to letting you register with other legal LP's med providers.
List Of Licensed Producer’s Please select 1 or 2 of the following Licensed Producers (LP) to register with and purchase your medicine from.
