Beware newbies, caveat emptorJust a friendly warning to newbies ... there are now a lot of companies claiming to be the next thing and they are not. They want your money and that is all.
This is much like the dotcom fiasco where many investors lost millions by putting their hard earned cash into fly by night companies. They had hopes in finding a winner, making 10x or more on their investments. The stocks did go up short term but when reality set in, the stocks crashed.
Who can you trust? Certainly not the media (Globe and Mail, BNN, etc.) There job is not to provide facts but to attract and maintain a strong base. Lies sell! The media has heavy bias and are ancient is their views.
Also, you can't trust 95% of the folks on these boards. If you do your research and understand the industry, you will find the few gems on these boards.
Who are the leaders in the MJ stocks for the long term? People who have been working the weed stocks prior to November 2016 know what is going on.
These companies have a future ... ACB, WEED, APH, LEAF, EMH. You will not lose with these.
There are a few others but I really like these companies as they have been at this for a while and have a plan on a global scale.
As a long term investor, one should be pleased to see WEED, APH, LEAF and EMH grow to new heights. This is a positive sign.
As for ACB, they are taking a beating from the bashers but the bashers can do little to stop the huge $$$ future this company has. Little dips here and there are normal.
ACB is well positioned with a global footprint to export much more than what can possibly be sold in Canada. Aslo, they have the ca$h to acquire smaller companies and merge with credible partners. Plus they can build and expand faster than their competitors due to wise acquistions.
CanniMed, while putting up a good fight, will fall. The issue is short term to the ACB sp. Without this distraction, ACB would be sitting @ $9 or more. It will happen and this will reach $20 by July 01. Move forward to 2020 and you are teamed with the Amazon of the weed sector.
Stay strong and long.
