RE:Bulk samplerInteresting company. According the their brochures, they have a sale outlet in SE Australia and a manufacturing facility somewhere in the Singapore area.
You might want to forward the info to Leo of NOV for info.
In addition to bulk sampling NOV could use water (drilling for water from aquifer) and Bauer environmental rehab technology.
Just tooked a look at the picture, using eyeballing technology, one pile of dirt/sample would fit in that scoop of the front end loader. The scoop has an approx dimension 2m x1m x 0.8m = 1.6 x 2.6 ~ 4 tonnes dirt. If they have 1 nugget in that pile of pay dirt (size of a sugar cube, 1.25 x 1.25 x 1.25cm), the grade would be 40 g/4 tonnes = 10gpt. If they find 2 nuggets then grade = 20gpt, etc...
There should be ways to prevent contamination due to rock/dirk falling from above, with the use of somekind of liner during the drilling through the conglomerate layer for bulk samples.
