RE:CO2 Emissions from the Cement IndustryTex, the potential applications for our anorthosite is huge and touches on many applications which are enviromentally friendly. One of the process HUD has already explored is for the alumina industry. Anorothosite would elinimate the need to use bauxite which would greatly benefit the ennviroment. Also our product lends itself nicely to the production of speciality alumina which has the potential for significant increases to our treasury.
HUD has explored and discussed with many industries, including the filler and coatings business as well as the alumima and e-glass compamies.I have always found it puzzling why, with such a supposedly unique and abundant product, additional off-takes have remained in the "advanced discussions" stage for several years. Why are companies not eager to take a position to obtain access to our anorthosite if for no other reason to assure access to such a proclained product unique to the world.
I really hope we see positive outcomes with off-takes during the first quarter of 2018 as suggested in the following excerpt from the last NR.
"We are in advanced discussions with additional customers for E-Glass and for paints and coatings applications and we are developing additional applications for this unique material which we hope to be able to announce early next year."
