Got into stocks in October after doing research with respect to the market and the outlook (and for fun), with a particular eye on marijuana and to look at crpto. Have simply been researching this sector a LOT and realized it is not a gamble if you do your homework, it is a very rare opportunity. Never posted before because first: too damn busy! But second - although I got some useful info from some objective insightful posts, read more of the unfortunate nonsense found everywhere online and not into it (catfights, self-serving fearmongering or likewise self-serving euphoria with no facts to support). Please no offense intended to anyone - whatever floats your boat - but now have some spare time, am legitimately positive about the future of the sector and ACB in particular, and felt like posting to connect online with likeminded folks in terms of info sharing. Plus, it is a marijuana company, it should be a bit of fun. And as a newcomer, I also realize what a negative impact forum posts can have on prospective new shareholders if they are not self-educated (as most in this sector will not be moving forward, jumping on hype and not fact checking) when they read some of the silly stuff that can dominate a board.
Agreed the sector is new and exciting and has allot of potential, but don't ever forget the stock market is a gamble and is full of corruption and manipulation.
This sector is doing very good now, with allot of speculation.
But as goes with every sector that exist with the casino, the big money movers will swoop in once it built up enough and manipulate the hell out of the sector and leave allot of people asking themselves " what just happened here, none of this makes sense " some of it won't make sense on the way up and won't make sense on the way down.
They have done with interest rates, housing, oil, currencies, ever sector in the stock market you can think of over the past 20 years and it'll be no different here.
How do you think those big hedge fund CEO afford those mansions in the hamptons. It's really hard to earn that sort of money to pay for a life like that, but really easy when you take the money from others.
Nothing is ever guaranteed here in the casino, some are just lucky to be on the correct side of the trade when it's swinging.
