If there is a buyout it will be a premium to the current share price. That is a major major reason to get the share price up through good professional communication and dog and pony shows to market professionals. RPC shares could be worth $100's of dollars if their pumps prove out to be as effective at increasing production in horizontal wells as one would hope--Worldwide patents. If they believe in their tech., and have numbers that accurately prove it, they sure should get a professional image out to the Street through IR and not look like Spanky and Our Gang.
