thks for the replies......I appreciate and would say I agree........I do attempt to  keep my portfolio both short and long if that makes sense, I tend to demand certainty with commodity stocks. there is the commodity risk upfront and when you add execution risk???? ..........things pile up
for the little guy, the big money is on longer course.........Merry Christmas, best of the season to all........cheers!!!
