RE:RE:The reason why just about anything goes ...B4ever, there's a lesson here for you to.  Anton Parr doesn't even offer XRF, neither EDXRF or WDXRF, so they aren't actually a competitor.  Anton Parr does offer XRD, which is used for analysis of specific chemical compounds, where as XRF is useful for analyzing total amounts of elements present.

Here is my chat with an Anton Parr rep for your reference.

Maybe you shouldn't invest in what you don't understand?

Melissa: Hello, thank you for visiting. Can I help you in any way?

Me: Do you sell XRF analytical analysis tools?

Melissa: Hi, how are you doing? Do you mean XRD?

Me: No XRF

Melissa: What do you mean by XRF?

Me: Energy disperse (EDXRF) or Wave dispersive (WDXRF) X-ray fluorescense (XRF) for elemental analysis.

Melissa: I see, okay, no we do not.

Me: Thanks.

Melissa: You're welcome, and thank you.
