Westgate made a calculated decisionI think it is important to think about why Westgate would make the decision to invite Patriot One to set up a centre on their property. I will make a few assumptions (remembering that I do have a bias as a shareholder). Firstly, Westgate believes that the tech can successfully be integrated into their security system. They would not disrupt their employees and existing systems if in fact they didn't think this was a viable technology. Secondly, casinos are extremely sensitive with their security systems; they wouldn't invite PAT's technicians onto the property if PAT wasn't a credible and trusted entity. Thirdly, in light of how fragile Las Vegas is right now in the aftermath of the massacre, there is no way that Westgate would want to work with a company that gave false hope to the casino industry and made them look incompetent. Finally, Westgate will see this as selling feature for their resorts - there will be a competitive advantage to advertise that their properties integrate state of the art technology which makes them a safer option. I think tourists are already paying attention to safety when considering their venues.
