BTE has not lost its torque at all. It's just a tricky investment. You have to sell when it becomes overbought and buy when it becomes oversold. Seems to always be a favorite with traders and always ranks in the high volume traded stocks.
I do agree there are better dividend payers for longer term investors. CJ seems to be the best at 9.2% yield.
BTE at these low $3.48 prices seems too good to be true? There's a number of great year-end tax selling "on firesale" priced Canadian oil stocks out there. BTE and CJ are my two favorite ones.
BTE short term trading. If you can beat them, join them!
CJ for longer term buy and hold.
