Yes - the shorting has kept this share price low. I believe some of the shorting is done by tradithional lithium mining companies who are very worried about Petro Lithium becoming a possible huge success. I think many of these shorters are losing money by doing this, they just want to keep XMG share price low. Once this proccess proves to be successful - this company's share price should soar... just my opinion...
