Agree 100%. I really don't understand why Aurora didn't try for a threesome in the first place. There is zero benefit to going on the attack against a deal already worked out amicably between CMED and HIP. Aurora is really shooting themselves in the foot here. A smart board would have tried to join the deal or make arrangements for a deal afterwards instead of trying to undermine the very company they are trying to "help". Even if they don't like HIP. Who cares? Maybe they just don't like the music? Hopefully, Aurora swallows their pride and backs off. Then, say their sorry and come back later. There's still plenty of time before July. Anyway, I wish I had just listened to myself and dumped my other losing stocks and went all in with Canopy at $7. So, I admit... I'm an idiot. Maybe that's why I don't understand this ridiculous cry baby fighting over such a comparitively small issue.
