RE:Shorting woesWhen you short a stock you buy the shares with bank money which you pay interest on. From the bank the interest is low (less than .5%). From what I heard, in cannabis stock the bank doesn't participate in shorting because of the volatilty of the stock. So third party will lend you the money but the interest is really high (for Aurora 26%) . . . for that reason they were saying that shorting of cannabis stock doesn't really exist. For me, I don't know but it makes a lot of sense.
