I think Mexico has the right to ask for spot tax going forward. The rest of their argument is weak noise imo.  Spot tax may  amount to 400- 500 million over life of mine. More important than the total amount owed  is the short term hit against profits imo.    Over time, a few years that spot tax paid will be offset by income tax owed.  That is where W could be a big help front loading a new stream deal even if stream is not reduced by much.
