RE:TGIF has the best management team and they will make us richStockPicker1234 wrote: I have mentioned many times before that one of the main reasons why I invested in TGIF was due to their strong management team. To me, especially for a start-up penny stock in the MJ sector, the key to success or failure will reside in the quality and strength of the management team, period. I also did not want any chance of investing in a start-up with false promises of growth and profitability that could not be delivered or the worst case, a fraudulent company altogether.
From my initial due diligence, what first caught my attention was when I learned that TGIF was founded and backed by David Stadyniak. For those who don't know, David Stadyniak, is the founder of Supreme Pharmaceuticals (currently trading on TSX as FIRE.CN), the guy who was able to create an unknown Canadian MJ company from literally pennies to multiple dollars in under 1.5 years. FIRE.CN continues to trade on the TSX and is a leading brand today. He is also the owner to his own private venture capitalist company called Stadyniak and Partners since 2000 and have formed at least 15 public companies as per his website. David is a high profile Canadian entrepreneur and public figure to many Canadians with a strong business track record of creating several successful Canadian public companies and maximizing sp value in a short period of time to investors, this is what he does.
David was very transparent in saying that after the success of Supreme (over a very short 2 years) he wanted to duplicate the same result with TGIF but at a much larger scale, by choosing the US market and Nevada specifically as its preliminary target. Hence, David is the visionary behind TGIF's formation and he's the one who hired Brayden (yet again) to lead our ship and he could not have picked a better Captain.
Brayden and David have worked closely together in the past in the same capacity when David stepped down as CEO from Supreme (after the sp had soared and he had made tons of money no doubt) and Brayden was promoted to take on additional senior leadership responsibilities, all of which are exactly the same to what he's doing today at TGIF i.e. formulate and execute a business plan to grow their cultivation capacity, work his connections to form strategic partnerships, increase brand awareness and to generate strong business development to maximize share price quickly.
Brayden is a true expert in the MJ field having spent 15 years as Canada's pre-eminent stock analyst in the MJ sector and Canada's first test person on medical MJ 15 years ago. Its funny that if you look at Brayden's twitter account today, he often comments on other MJ stocks, their performance and his opinions because his background is an expert MJ stock analyst who likely has a better understanding of the MJ industry and sp valuation more than anyone else. Who better would you want to lead our team to share price maximization? Similar to David, Brayden is an entrepreneur and created his own venture capitalist company with Joe Bleackley in 2015 called New Raven Capital so the two have a strong working relationship and history. One of Brayden’s seemingly favourite quotes in his interviews are, "where there's history, there's no mystery". This gives me good insight into his belief that its extremely important for TGIF to do business with people they have worked with in the past, can trust, and have been successful with, all winning ingredients.
Having been part of a venture capitalist environment in my former life, I can't tell you how different it is to a non-venture capitalist company. A good venture capitalist organization (which both David and Brayden run) is highly connected with key contacts within the industry and will have access to resources and information a normal MJ company just won't have. Further, the mindset of TGIF's venture capitalist team is focused on one thing, to maximize share price in the next 3 years (2.5 years likely now left) for an exit plan that will increase the value of the company by many multiples. In order to do so, they have the knowledge, expertise and connections to transform TGIF into a much larger , more efficient and highly profitable company ripe for a new bigger buyer down the road who will surely pay top dollars, and I mean TOP $! They are heavily invested themselves into the company and their performance bonuses are likely based almost entirely on that. Unlike a traditional MJ shop where they also want to increase share price but their plans and goals are less aggressive, less risky at times, and they just don't have the foresight and/or business connections that TGIF management will have, nor the capital backing, so it will be much more difficult and very difficult for them to succeed.
Anyhow, for your own research, I have provided below a few links, which I think are very useful for all investors to see just to get a flavour of the management team at TGIF. In order, the links below are as follows:
1. David Stadyniak's private venture capitalist company - check out the management team section and you will see Brayden and check out the other 14 public companies he successfully created
https://www.stadnykandpartners.com
2. TGIF's corporate marketing video, its 2 minutes and the narrator is the man himself David Stadyniak speaking
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=muyf_Mrkdd0&t=65s
3. Just a random article in 2014 from the Globe showing the David and Brayden have done this same thing before on Supreme so they are experienced and just repeating the successes they have had but this time, to a much larger scale with the US market being many times larger than Canada

4. New Raven Capital, the venture capitalist firm owned by Brayden where Joe is the Managing Partner, these two are well connected and have a good working history and relationship with one another.

I apologize for those who have already researched this but for those who haven't, I hope this gives you some added information on the TGIF management team that you may not have known prior. Bottom line, we have the best MJ management team in North America, and they, along with the longs on this board are going to be rich from it. GLTA!
