It does, however, contain one material flaw. It posits the result for common shareholders based on a resulting value for the company of between $600MM and $900MM, which will indeed be the resulting book value, but it is not the value at which the market will value the company. The market will value it at a multiple of that, or, alternatively at a multiple of some other figure, ie., EBITDA, and the amount will be much higher. Perhaps the market will not do so right on Day 1, but it will ultimately do so...say, within a year or two.
Right or wrong, that is what I have bet on...
So - the smart money is holding off buying the common stock. Hence the complete lack of insider activity. The strategy of waiting to buy immediately
post restructuring with an artificially low valuation would have served you well with yellow media. Lets agree that you have placed a "bet" and your position is at best a speculative gamble.................... All the best for the holidays and fingers crossed for the New Year.............
