Another year of no mining news

Another year of no mining news
Well, you have to tip your hat to CEO Todd Hilditch of Terraco Gold Mining, looks like we are closing out the year with no significant mining news for 2017 (or 2016) yet he was re-elected as a Director again this year and stil serves as CEO.

The last time we got an updated resource estimate for Spring Valley was in 2014 and Almaden-Nutmeg is pretty much a forgotten "asset" imo.  Since we apparently did not require Waterton to issue any type of periodic updates regarding Spring Valley, we remain in the dark regarding any work which may have enhanced the value of our royalty.

Next up should be the Statement of Executive Compensation which historically has been filed in January.  As a way of review, here are some past figures--

Total Compensation for Todd Hilditch, CEO

2104   $150,000    (not bad for a part-time job)
2015   $150,000
2016   $270,199    (yeah, I know.... hard to believe they gave him a bonus)

As we know, Terraco's high share price in 2014 was around .19 cents and we just closed up slightly from our 52 wk low to finish at .09.

With the above in mind, it should be interesting to see what our CEO was paid for 2017.  We should know in the next 30 days.  It will either be an insult to long time shareholders or an acknowledgment of our company's performance and lack of activity reflected in a significantly lower level of compensation.

Hopefully one day Todd Hilditch will post on the company's website some kind of Open Letter to Shareholders explaining the company's poor performance (without opting for the "poor market conditions" default line) and his vision for bringing value to sharehholders.
