Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:RE:PREDICTION - FRIENDLY MERGER BETWEEN APH & TGODCastle,

So 46% of ownership is looking for a buyout.  What's different?

In my opinion TGOD should first secure funding for their proposed expansions in both Ontario and Quebec, build out the facilities, operate them for a year, prove that their business model has credibility and then put up a for sale sign if they are so inclined.  The only thing they have to offer at this stage is promises and dreams.  Aphria is past that.  I see very little value in acquiring TGOD.  Aphria has better options if they want to expand in Ontario and Quebec.

Why acquire a proposed facility when you can purchase a completed one?
