RE:nino9, a short story ... Yes, the higher the grade the lower your cost and the higher the profit of the added product. It is not necessary to bring up a fictitious project to prove your point, because we both are in agreement.
My statement boils down to the fact that a mine grade of approximately 2.9%Cg does not prevent the development of the Coosa Project.
Certainly not when considering all the other points. Extensive geological knowledge, easy access, easy upgrading, low capital cost (for 7 years) as the ore only needs less crushing and grinding than other higher grade mines, security of delivering source material for the upgrading because the mine is located in the US as opposed to Syrah Resources, not exposed to price increases if ore bought from other sources preference given to CSPG by Buying America policies etc. etc. Just to mention a few!
So I repeat my statement: the ore grade of the Coosa project is unimportant in my opinion.
