Your original post said they didn't declare a dividend last qtr.  You have now added they did not increase their dividend.  True enough, they didn't.  But they did the qtr before.  They have been increasing thier dividend twice a year for the past 4 years, are you saying they should be doing it qtrly?

Regarding not increasing in share price like the other banks, it depends on your time line.  Scotia has been middle of the pack over the past 3 years.  So has their dividend increases.  Take the two together and they stand up well to all the banks.  Scotia is the most international of our big 5.  If you want global exposure they are the bank to choose.
