It is hard to imagine 650 Million share short when there is only 185 Million shares outstanding.
The short position on TNY (if you can believe the figures) are pretty modest at 3.5 Million.

In regards to TNY though, last month we were a little over 800 thousand in short trading value, so regardless the trend is up on short positions but they will be closing those positions I think as well because the volume of all trades is way up!! Here is all of the short trading value for TNY last year & you can see the trend is up for shorters, they are mad that they missed this BEAST in the Making!!
