RE:RBCI used to use RBC Direct Investing platform, until I got frustrated with their basic services. It’s still active (have 2 ongoing trades I do not want to close out because they are still trending upwards), but closed up/moved everything else to Questrade (Margin and TFSA).

Good luck whatever decision you take.
