RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Boy.there is a youtube posting where boyes states at the "west" conference in late October tht owen sound was on track and they he expected cultivation licence in the near term.
also, H.C has made provisions for LP's to scale more easily based on they security, most specifically the size of the LP's Vault, as Boyes has provided no direct indications, clearly I'm speculating, but what I've witnesses is many companies re-tooling their initial plans to make future build outs quicker and more easily obtained. throwing out more initial $ for infrstructure (like a maximum sized vault for entire buildout) is something many developers are putting change orders in for.
and for anyone new, the application process is complicated and political, very political. my freind has been growing for patients in his greenhouses for many years, the LP process wasn't worth it at the time....he certainly regrets not filing a couple years ago now that H.C is streamlining the process fro "craft" growers...
also with "run ups" i agree your risk assessment....but on the bulk of the sector, not the original canadian LP's nor these US operating companies. follow the money, numbers don't lie. so if your betting an companies taht don't even have a plant in the ground yet, you've explodes yourself to a lot of downside, conversely, small caps like MPX making money, TGIF, N, mid caps Fire, OGI, emerlad and obviously the large cap originals....are is still a large amount of upside.
and another thing, the gap btw the rich and middle class continues to grow, the same is true in this sector. by the time half these ptrading companies get built out and licenced the operations with palnts in the ground right now will only be that much further ahead, branded, cash rolling in and well funded to takeout the small new players trying to make it here...
