I guess it depends on when you bought in. If you were in the red before, you'll still be in the red after the merger. But you not be down more in value than before.. in fact, NTR has risen almost 10% since open, so you should be better off today than whoever you held prior. 

I'm showing a AVG Price on my NTR stocks at transfer of $63.38ea. My entire holdings after the move showed for a -1.01% difference in the exchange. If BMO shorted you in the exchange, I'd be raining down fire on them. If it's a matter of you needing to see $85 to crawl out of the red on your initial investment, then that might be a pill you'll have to swallow. I think it'll get there in time.
