I don't get it!!

A company can halt its stock for 3 weeks  with out any kind of 
an update and this is concidered normal, or should I say LEGAL.
It just does not seem right to me that companies can do this for this long 
of a period with out updating their share holders. Just think about it, They 
have prevented milions and millions of their share holders money from being accessed
with out a word for THREE WEEKS. Just does not seem right and I always thought there
was some kind of agency out there that monitored these things. I am also quit surprised that
no one else out there feels the same way as I do. This is getting more ridiculous than it was before
this stock was halted. What a nightmare this has become for us all.
