RE:Equitorial Explorations EXX receives drill permit Thanks for posting this Tubiner.
Equitorial will be drilling for lithium very close to NAM's Lithium 2 project at Cat Lake Manitoba.
Looks to me like NAM has very favourable terms with Azincourt regarding their lithium division partnership.
I remember AAZ as a uranium exploration company that has claims next door to Fission Uranium at Paterson Lake. Fission (Triple R deposit) and Nexgen (Arrow deposit) have huge deposits of U3O8 and Cameco/Purepoint is currently drilling its Spitfire discovery on the same geologic trend.
Battery minerals including lithium, cobalt and nickel are the hot commodities these days so it looks like AAZ has decided to get on the lithium bandwagon.
It is starting to look like nickel demand will pick up in 2018-19 so that will be good for the Sudbury area and for New Age Metals.
The NAM sulphide ore is diseminated sulphides as compared to the massive sulphides in the Sudbury ore. This likely accounts for the lower concentrations of copper & nickel and higher PGM's. The payable metals at RV incude PGM's, CU, NI, AU, RH, CO and AG. Disseminated ore is finely grained and dispursed evenly throughout the ore which favours open pit mining.
All this to explain why Vale & Glencore would be interested in NAM.
