RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Salt??

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Salt??thank you for your input, Mr Know-it-all ...

your first mistake, assuming every city uses the same product on roads ... ask anyone in Calgary, for instance, how many windshields get replaced per year due to road sanding .... secondly, sand does not absorb water like zeolite does ... thirdly, throw enough sand on top of boulevard grass and it blocks light and weighs down growth. Zeolite holds water and exchages harmful chemicals for safe ones ... that’s why there is interest in zeolite as a growing medium, not sand ... unlike zeolite, sand is not porous, does not hold water and does not act as a green fertilizer ...

further, zeolite improves soil aeration as well as water and nutrient retention, reducing water and fertilizer requirements. Sand does not. It also slowly releases minerals back into the soil keeping plants healthier and lawns greener. Sand does not do this.

and ... zeolite embeds better in ice so it
tracks less than sand. The  EcoTraction product is also a softer stone than sand or gravel, making it less likely to scratch flooring when tracked into buildings.

that enough for you?
