RE:Acquisition of PONY is the only way

RE:Acquisition of PONY is the only way All Canadian NG names have taken a beating. Even Tourmaline with ace CEO Michael Rose is languishing near 52 week lows. I wouldn't be surprised if more consolidation takes place, but the main problem is the lack of takeaway capacity. Last I checked Pony was making money, not tons, but they weren't losing money and still the market doesn't care.

The market just does not like Canadian energy names and until sentiment changes, and until government gets its head out of the sand regarding inefficient and harmful regulations this problem isn't going away. This has been a very frustrating space to be in especially if you look and see what is happening south of the border where energy companies have had the red carpet rolled out vis a vis regulation and red tape.
