RE:RE:Everybody just calm down andYes and that is certainly tough on a lot of people, and a lot of them can't stomcach holding a down stock over a long period; money managers know this. At times like these, they love to shake the tree, put panic out into the market, and scoop up cheap retail shares. Just look at the 5 year chart of some of these companies. The reversals are often sharp and prolonged.

WIth natural gas useage tending up worldwide, and being the best alternative to coal power gen, demand will have a strong future, and prices will normalize soon. Liquid prices will increase along with oil, and thus producers in the montey will be happy campers down the road. Buy and hold is always the best strategy with stocks.

The period where companies were giving it away for free was only a few days back in Sept... and most companies just shut in the portion of their unhedged production at that time, so i really fail to see how that should affect an investment decision now.
