Sangdong Mine Location

Sangdong Mine LocationI'm not sure how many of you have located the Sangdong Mine on Google Earth. If you are interested the location of the old mine portal is 37°08'53.38" N , 128°50'19.09" E

The old APT building is just to the east at 37°08'52.93" n , 128°50'24.89" E

The aerial photo was taken September 13, 2015. Google may be taking another photo this spring which would show any changes to the area since 2015. You can also view the historical Google Earth aerial photos going back to 2004.

It looks like someone moved a few hundred cubic yards of stockpiled material sometime from October 2013 and September 2015. The location is at 37°09'06.42" N, 128°50'10.54" E
