RE:Estimated Cannabis production in works a huge oversupplyIn Canada there are 35,151,728 people. If 20% of the population uses cannabis that's 7030345 consumers.
7030345 people using an average of an ounce a month 7030345 x 12 ounces a year is 84364147 ounces per year divided my 35 ounces a kilo is 2,410,404 kilos of production needed per year to keep up with consumer demand.
That's about the ball park of what the market will demand per year imo. The required efficient commercial growing space needed is 15,540,763 square feet producing 38 grams of product four times per year. I don't think we are any where near that kind of production in this country at this time.
