MontneyFor anyone worried about the region in general consider this. Conoco Phillips sold basically all their oil assets in Canada last year. The only assets they kept are the surmount SAGD facility in AB, and their montney properties in BC. They are currently drilling in the area, and plan on expanding over the next few years. It just goes to show the quality of the resource when a company that is basically exiting Canada, will not sell those assets. Chevron is also sitting on massive reserves further north near ft. Nelson, same with Encana (note they didn't sell either during their exit).
