RE:RE:RE:Market closed. Wishing you all Good outcome guys!Yes... And most takeover timeframes like to have at least one full business trading after the news to allow the merger or takeover arbitrager's to buy up. The Arbs are fast to act on news of a takeover and start buying up a small spread from buyout value. So if you want to sell now instead of the actual closing of the sale. The Arbs buy off you. Common practice is not to have a buyout PR Friday close before a weekend because all the banks and Arbs are closed for the weekend. It probably wouldn't matter to wait through a weekend... But it's common practice not to announce a buyout PR on Friday close. Which brings me back to the significance of why Primero always used to have the debt deadline end if Friday but now chose Thursday! To allow a full business day of Arb trading after the buyout news before the weekend. Just speculation :) we will see soon! Try and get some sleep y'all.
