RE:CTV NEWS ONLINE must read Hey all Battley is saying is that when you go public you are are gonna be swimming with sharks so you better be ready to swim with the sharks. ACB are sharks and I think they are proudly that and that's fine. Zettl is not hiding anything but we live in the cut throat world Battley is alluding to. Bottom line... if you don't want to be vulnerable to a hostile takeover and the other realities of the public market don't go public. He's made a fair statement. What I can't understand is how all of the people talking on the CMED ACB and HIP bullboards here don't recognize all of this as just business. Business is posturing, competing, negotiating, getting beaten up, suing, tricking pressuring etc. etc. etc. As shareholders you get to watch it and hope everything pans out in your favour. When you buy a stock you are buying a piece of a company and you are a participant in their unfolding story. There is a wild story happening right now. People who guess right about how it turns out are going to do well. Others not so much. When you play the stock market you are also swimming with sharks.
