RE:Thoughts on a buyout?I don't see LIB being bought out. They would be very appealing to the major players, but I believe LIB is more than happy doing this on their own. With the direction(s) they are taking, they're not a flash in the pan. Cultivation, distribution, and a very underestimated value in ESEV pet products... well on their way to being a great success story. North Road vault capacity currently at $6.25m with plans to expand to $32m(verify?) in the future once DL is acquired. Just Kush facility is currently smaller than we'd like, but won't stay that way for long. Pet care CBD market is also estimated to be a multi-billion $ market. Some of my holdings in the sector are simply until licensing. Others are longer holds. LIB and LG are my longs (2019 and beyond) while MYM has already been 10x+, just waiting on license news to cash out 25%. Large position in MMJ since .145 which I plan to liquidate 75% after license. Waiting for some news from CANN before I decide how long to stick around there... likely a buyout coming from Canopy there since they are already partnered to an extent. MPX I doubled and sold, but will be back in after a few of these other licenses roll in. MMJ and CANN expecting Feb licenses. MPX not expecting HC license until summer (although they currently have very good revenue from US dispensaries).
The skinny... Lots of companies will want to be involved with LIB once licenses come in. But I don't expect anything substantial to happen in terms of buyout talks until the DL license is official. And by then my .16/.18 shares will be 10x. Congrats to those who didn't panic and sell off during the plunge last week. Hold strong, this one's a winner all day long! Cheers
