Can fossikers take any nuggetsWhile back last fall, Novo published several imagess showing (image 1 is Trench 1) of numerous nuggets, targetted by using metal detectors. Nugget were embedded in conglomerate rock. Note red/blue circles to id location per below:

My understanding re Australian laws & fossikers, gained via Rhino10 postings/explanations -
you are such a wealth of hands on info Rhino10, that this BB is "blessed" to have you - is that fossikers are free to uncover/keep nuggets, even if situated on companies claims/tenements but that no mechanical tools can be used. So metal detectors, shovels, hand held pick hammers & similar are OK. And although Novo used jack hammers in several vid presentations published, I would think that healthy swings with a hand pick would serve similar results.
In picts of trenches there are hundreds of circles. So I assumed that Novo would have gone ahead to gather those nuggets vs leaving them identifies but still embedded. Following up on that, I contacted Leo to see how much Au we recovered. I was disappointed with his reply "
We have maybe 60-70 samples with nuggets. Each nugget probably weighs between 0.3 grams and ~15 grams. Estimate total weight is on the order of 3-4 oz."
So is Novo being an most benevolent, charitable neighbour by leaving those nuggets for fossikers to recover? Maybe so for Leo also threw some light upon what our present - but hopefully after that Red Cloud interview is changing into doing more than just technical work!!!.
Per Leo: "We are not focussed on mining nuggets. We are focussing on technical work."
