I have had calls from both companies. All that tells you is that the vote is going to be very close.

My opinion - if CanniMed can't get the votes for Newstrike (50%, or almost 85% of the votes outside of the locked up group) then ACB will like complete its takeover, stock price will go down as $24 is the cap. If CanniMed gets Newstrike however, AND Acb drops its bid, then price should go up as $24 handcuffs released. Otherwise Acb will have to sweeten its offer and take Newstrike as well.

Either way, we should know more within the next 2 weeks.
