I'll shoot straight.. a lot of the buying today was me. I've done very well with gains from a few other holdings, I already had a sizable holding of HS and I've been picking away at HS all day yesterday and today (and I will continue tomorrow if we stay at these levels).
Here's the thing.. I don't think HS is going anywhere without news. In fact, I think we might see $0.15 - or lower within the next weeks/months if no news comes. If we do head to the mid/high .20s without news (again), it is the market makers doing their thing and you can bet it will fall again if no news supports the climb. (This has happened 3 times already which any long term holder of HS can tell you, or you can simply look at the charts).
The reason no news is coming out is tied to the fact that we have no CEO in my opinion. It is my opinion that HS is in a holding patern until they know which governments and within which industries are willing to commit to using HS services. Once those roads have been paved a CEO that best suits the company direction will be appointed. And you can bet that he/she will be a good friend of/extremely familiar the government(s).
It is both annoying and frightening that there is zero news coming from the company. I can't even get a return email from IR and I'm willing to bet I have more shares than the average poster on this website. I've been spoiled by some wonderful CEOs in my other holdings and I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't nervous at the fact that HS has no CEO. But it makes sense to hold off when doing business with the government as many of the politicians who are making the rules about Blockchain will resign from politics and become directors and even CEOs of blockchain companies.
It is my opinion that blockchain will be the most disruptive thing to hit the markets since the internet. If you agree, you're in the same boat as me... finding companies that will be left standing when all of the pump and dump frauds and wannabes are exposed. HS is a long shot, but it fits the description of a potential winner. We know HS has pre-existing contracts and an excellent relationship with the Canadian and US government. We know HS has a solid relationship with IBM. We know that HS can keep the lights on and has an existing stream of revenue (albiet modest... but no debt. How many marijuana companies valued at over 100 million can say that?).
I don't know if things will pan out with HS, and I want everyone to understand the risks. I'm confident that my shares won't fall to zero and I know that if HS is a bullseye it will be done the right way, without fear of a pump and dump, because the government(s) will be involved. And that means constant growth for years to come without fear of being scammed by anyone except the tax-man.
Good luck. And if you're in the bunch that has been selling under .20... thank you for the shares.
