Not everything follows same logic.
All news including BNN talk mainly about Bitcoin and list HIVE in Bitcoin trading category. Thus it doesn't matter what HIVE does it will get evaluated against Bitcoin.
HIVE will mine Bitcoin in the next 9 months or so.

When ETH was in low $700's HIVE had PP valued at $3.15 and share was at $3.96. Now ETH is 50% up while HIVE is 33% down. But it should be in $5+ range.
Go figure.
