Multi-well pad

Multi-well pad
Assuming that they have two wells done and started the third well by now, then there must be at least some pay dirt down there. Each hole started from the same surface point, lateraled off in different directions. If the first hole was a total dud, just lateraling off in a new direction for the next try would be foolish. You would in that case need to re-evaluate your data, and move the drill pad at least over the horizon. No? I am long roe. Good luck everyone.
