Neumeyer certainly has a fair amount of experience in the resource sector, having founded First Majestic Silver (TSXV:

“mineral bank” or “advanced asset incubator” aimed at acquiring assets trading at low valuations and holding them until the market improves.
ABOUT FIRST MINING FINANCE CORP. First Mining has evolved from a
holder of mineral assets to a project developer.
Jan 10 2018 news release:
'the Company is
changing its strategy'
Look, there is a lot of confusion about the use of the words “Strategy”, “Goals” and “Objectives”. Some people use different definitions, and will use the same word differently depending on context.
Here is one definition:
“A strategy is what you are going to provide or deliver in your project/program. The strategy will state
what and
how you are going to achieve your objective.”
Using the definition above, the Long Term Strategy of FF, that is, moving the projects into production sometime in the future (the what), by entering into agreements with third parties for example (the how), still holds unless otherwise stated.
Now, what may vary are short and medium-term strategies, nothing unusual about that.
