RE:RE:Bubble1. I feel that my post was insightful and not trolling. There are thousands of new investors into cannabis stocks in the recent months that don’t have a single clue what they’re doing, or what they are talking about....you’d be lying to yourself and others if you said otherwise. These investors are why the share prices for many pot stocks are insanely volatile.
2. These investors jump on board a stock not knowing how to value a company, they only see the price going up so they get in. The second someone makes a big sell order and triggers some stop losses all of these new investors panic and sell.....at that point even ppl who aren’t new to the pot stocks, and are just riding the momentum, with 0 long term plan to hold the company, just trying to make some quick money, also get out because there’s no telling where the bottom is when a company has a 500 mil market cap without a license to grow, and absolutely no money or financing to go through with the mega plans that they released which propped the stock up in the first place.
3. Price tanks. Case and point...Friday, Dec. 22nd at noon - dropped 20% in 3 minutes from 4.75 to 3.85, entire sector was doing fine that day. Friday Dec. 29 at 9:30 am - dropped 50%!! At open after management said they were periodically selling their shares.
4. Big banks did not invest in MYM, they invested in Canopy, the world leader in the space. Canopy may see some ups and downs, but it is here to stay, and will continue to be a world leader. MYM needs about 150-200 mil to follow through with any of their plans.....no big money investor is going to touch this without a serious discount. Not every stock will implode when the bubble bursts, just most of them, considering the 10 biggest LPs will be able to supply all of Canada in 2 years, and there will be 240 left scratching their heads. Canopy will be around and that’s why BMO gave them money
5. I’m not saying MYM doesn’t have potential....but they are valued waaaay too high for what they have, no license, no money, big plans, only 40K sqft complete...and they still have to raise too much money to get there.
6. Anybody who doesn’t have a clue what they are doing in pot stocks should just put their money in the big 4 and not look at it, investing in a company like MYM At these valuations is just insane. 10% of your portfolio here based on Aussie potential...but no more, because this could go right to 0 along with 250 others in 2 years
