RE:Newstrike way overvalued
brand, brand reps, licencing (which is a long arduous process to obtain) and grow space. Take a tour of Aurora's grow facility (on Lift), compare that to others such as abcann, weedmd or aphria. Aurora looks big but quality seems poor in comparison. Bigger is not always better. Take a look at beer for eg., so much can be invested into a particular beer recipe but there's no guarantee folks are gonna like it when it hits market. Many cannabis smokers are connoisseurs of the product. They will want to support something they identify with, whether it be a company that treats their employees good, or is organic, or uses natural light vs aquaponics, has been third party tested by upcoming companies like Abbattis is hoping for, for eg. Some folks will like the Snoop Dogg affiliation that CGC has secured, and some will avoid it for that very reason, some will like the approach to a women's market like WeedMD is going after, some will avoid companies that make edibles considering the risks that poses to children as identified in the Colorado pot market experience...and whether you like the tragically hip or not, they are considered a national icon and there will be a large market who will find HIP appealing once UP hits the market. Technical analysis is always important, but in an emerging sector like this there are other logical factors that should be considered when investing IMO.
