RE:WtfHeywood checking in....... :-)
Novo is in a holding pattern, hence the "doldrums" on this board. Here is my snipit for discussion: Is Novo fairly priced? I guess that is the question all are wondering. Let's consider that back at the heights of the last peak in the bull market for PMs that other juniors were in the $3 USD vicinity even though they also had no delineated resource base.
So, regardless of how much or little Au there actually may be on Novo's properties we know the market can assign a value such as we currently see. The risk is that we are witnessing a value one would expect near the top of the cycle instead of closer to the bottom which is where we currently are.
What did ol' Heywood do today? I am now "managing" a small portfolio of stocks for my wife - she is finally allowing me to do that. I had a $5k budget to work with for today's spend and it all went into WRN. It is a safe, almost boring by junior standards, play - which is why I felt comfortable placing the entire amount there.
I am much more aggressive with my juniors, however, Novo at the current price would be far too aggressive even for me. Let's check back in a year and see whether WRN or Novo yields a larger % increase from the current prices today. Because, at the end of the day it is all about opportunity costs: if you choose to invest in stock A you decide not to invest in stock B.
Have a blessed weekend all.
