The warrants are exercised directly with the company. ! warrant plus $1.50 is exchanged for 1 common share which is issued by Cannabis Wheaton.
The closing price does not reflect how many warrants are being exercised. It influences if the warrants may be exercised.
The warrants being called are freely trading on the market.... The value of the warrants are in direct correlation with the CBW share price. The further the Bigs can short the main share price down the cheaper they can get the warrants on the open market. The shorts have been using this strategy for a while to build up cheap warrants. They can also be sold through your trading account as a cashless
transaction to cover the short.
people that are unhappy they called these is are idiots if they are invested in this company, the share price is held down because they are trading on the open market under a CBW.WT
We are at a stage in this kind of business model where we need loads of cash, so we will have more dilution than other MJ companies as a result to build up the streams. The long term benefit though is after the upfront cost is behind them there is very little overhead compared to a pure grow play. In the end this positions CBW to have by far the lowest cost in the industry later on when it really counts.
The payback on the cash we get now will be many fold more at a later time. The more we raise now the better it will be for all of the long term investors later. I'm glad the mangment is not thinking about lining the pockets of investors here for the short term. The longs are going to be rewarded handsomely.
