RE:Anyone here think the CRE investment thesis here isAs mentioned in my previous post;
thesis was managements credibility to achieve achieve the timeline they presented. There will be many junior lithium companies that do not make it - they may have the best reserves or best technology, but if they fail in the race to get financing and secure offtake it won’t matter. Think Apples operating system or the Beta machine. Timing matters , especially where there is no global shortage. I took this weeks news as material , I do. Why is he not speaking?
i agree with Gino, that the reserves work has not changed - not much has changed since 2009, beyond report. Their operational update was a joke for a company firing on all cylinders and going to build a mine.
Putting that aside - I believe if something material is going to occur it is going to be in Q1 and we will hit new highs.
that will be a point to reevaluate.
I had had sold some in the 1.60’s but bought back in at 1.55 and 1.41. However I had sold some on the way up and bought in higher so plan is to monitor for next 6-10 weeks. It has become much more speculative due to HELM not being there. They were very intimate with the company and also chose to not do a deal with CRE.
i honestly struggle with it because of the economics (looks very promising) vs the frustration of execution and market communications.
If Harper would provide a more substantive update it would go along way and the fact that their are things the company could be doing is frustrating, moving phase 2 study, giving more detailed updates, progressing JV projects, etc.
